What are Patterns and Decals?
Patterns and Decals are items or "customs" that can be placed on your tank. These can be purchased from the Customize tab or earned throughout the game in battle passes, live events, crates, store, Spoils of War, etc.
Patterns are customizations that not only change the appearance of your tank, but also increase your tank's Attack (damage) or Shots (reload speed), depending on the percentage applied.
Decals are customizations that add a sticker to your tank. These increase your tank's Armor or Movement, also depending on the percentage applied.
How do you equip a Pattern and/or Decal?
When you purchase a Pattern or Decal from the Customize tab, it will automatically be equipped to the tank that you have currently selected. If you change tanks, the customs will be applied to the new tank you have selected as well.
For any custom won throughout the game, these can be equipped by tapping “Battle” and then tapping either of the boxes below “Customizations”. Once tapped, it will bring you to your Patterns and Decals that you currently have in your inventory. To equip them, simply tap the desired Pattern/Decal.
Important information regarding Patterns and Decals
When viewing a Pattern or Decal, you will notice that each item has a different duration. When the time is over, the customs will be unequipped from your tank and will no longer be available in your inventory. The timer will start decreasing from the moment you activate it, even if you are not using it.
If you are a Premium member, these durations can be increased by your Premium Club level. If you lose access to your subscription perks, the timer will be instantly reduced, which can cause the item to "disappear" suddenly from your account. If you are experiencing issues like this, we recommend using the Restore Purchases button in the Settings and never using your subscription on another account.
⚠️ Patterns and Decals earned from Spoils of War have a shorter duration than those earned from other places. If you use these customs on a Fusion, you will receive a custom with a shorter duration as well.
